Conservatory Ballet Company

offers dancers the opportunity to hone their artistic voices, and polish their performance personae and technical skills, through an educational experience that reaches beyond the classroom to share dance with the community. Members of the Conservatory Ballet are ambassadors for dance, and as emerging artists, are actively engaged in community outreach and education initiatives.

Enrolment in Conservatory Ballet Company is by invitation of the instructor.  Invitations are extended to all students who meet age, technical and enrolment criteria, to ensure that the Conservatory Ballet membership is transparent, diverse and inclusive.

Conservatory Ballet Company offers intermediate and advanced students a performance-oriented class designed as a youth ballet company experience.  As part of The Conservatory Ballet, company members will learn choreography for original ballets designed to be shared with our region’s community. Conservatory Ballet Company is guided by the “all-star, no star” philosophy, so all students have the equal opportunity to learn corps de ballet, soloist and principal roles.  Classes will focus solely on working as cohesive company members, developing individual artistry, rapidly mastering advanced choreography and preparing as pre-professional performers.
